1. Display Quality
Check the resolution, brightness, color accuracy, and responsiveness of the touchscreen display.Need to check the parameters listed in each product’s data-sheet. In fact, all the big screens are now doing much the same. Visual inspection rarely shows the difference between excellent domains. For ordinary business scenarios, too much important point is responsiveness, the corresponding degree of speed, very affect the work efficiency.
Parameter Checking |
||
Screen Resolution |
4K |
The Higher, the better, currently many display are made on 4K, and also there are 2K, 1080P, which is lower |
Screen Response Time |
6.5ms |
Range 8ms - 5ms, is considered to be relatively quick |
Screen Coating |
Anti-glaring technology |
Through special coatings or filters, anti-glare technology reduces reflections on the screen surface and reduces interference from external light sources, thereby reducing glare and reflections and improving the viewing experience. |
2. Touch Sensitivity
Ensure that the touchscreen is responsive to touch inputs and supports multi-touch gestures.
Parameter Checking: |
||
Touch Points |
20 Touch Points |
The more the better, many displays have only 2-10 touch points |
Responsiveness |
8ms |
Range 8ms - 5ms, is considered to be relatively quick |
3. Durability
Assess the durability of the touchscreen display, considering factors such as scratch and impact resistance. Given the frequent use of touchscreen displays for writing and drawing, ensuring longevity is crucial for sustained performance.
Parameter Checking: |
||
Protection tempered glass |
2mm |
protect the screen, and also ensure the touch accuracy |
4. Calibration
Check if the touchscreen is properly calibrated for accurate touch interactions, highlighting features such as low latency for writing and the underlying technology powering touch input.
Parameter Checking: |
|
Minimum identifiable object |
2mm |
Pen gap |
25mm(diameter 3mm) |
Touch Accuracy |
≤ ± 1mm |
Featured function: |
|
Prevent Accidental Touch |
Draw with finger on/off button |

If it is a conference room with 8-15 people, you can choose a 65 inch screen, a conference room with more than 20 people, you can choose a 75 inch or 86 inch screen. If it's a huge conference room, consider multi-screen solutions. However, for different scenarios, there are more in-depth parameter requirements. For example, the education industry needs to pay attention to the functional diversity of whiteboards and the smoothness of writing. In the business field, great emphasis is placed on the functions of video conferencing systems. Some highly professional industries need to pay attention to whether the system is highly compatible, whether it is open ecosystem, and whether touchscreen display brands can provide professional solutions. For entertainment use, more attention is paid to the system’s ability to install various entertainment software. Please refer to our second part. Checklist of Touch Screen Display (Part 2, Advanced).
